Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, ACTREC, is a unique Institute under the wing of Tata Memorial Centre and a grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. ACTREC conducts a PhD program in Life Sciences that is affiliated with the Homi Bhabha National Institute (a deemed university under category A by MHRD, Govt. of India). Fulfilling its ‘bench-to- bedside’ mandate, the Institute provides a highly conducive environment for world-class cancer research.

Project : “ Structural and in-silico based approach to evaluate pathogenicity of mutations retrieved from cancer genomic public databases in eph and ephrin complexes”
Essential Qualifications : First class post graduate degree from a recognized University in Life Sciences and four years of research experience on gene cloning, protein expression, purification crystallization including the bioinformatics based structural modelling.
OR
Second class post graduate degree with Ph.D from a recognized University in Life Sciences and four years of research experience on gene cloning, protein expression, purification crystallization including the bioinformatics based structural modelling.
Note : Ph.D in relevant subject shall be treated equivalent to three years of experience.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 57,660/- per month.
Duration : Six months and extendable.
The work progress of candidates will be monitored for extension after 6 months.
