CSMCRI with much scientific excitement has now achieved technological excellence with several granted patents in the core mandate of the institute and is one among the top performing national R&D laboratories in the country. At the beginning of 2011, the Institute has around 360 staff with 150 S&T staff on its roll and around 250 research fellows and project assistants pursing their doctoral programme.
Post : Project Associate - I
Qualification : M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Fellowship : (i) 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
(ii) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Age : The upper age limit is 35 yrs. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Job Description : Selected candidate will work on the CSIR project “: Demonstration of IoTenabled off-the-shelf sensor-system to measure and monitor water quality, quantity and regularity for water service delivery at selected Pilot Location”.
Duration : The position is purely temporary for the duration of project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR. Initial appointment is for one year or co-terminus of the Project.
