Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), is the first Pharmacy University of India established by an Act7 of 2008 of State Legislature of Delhi as a State University vide Notification No.F. 2(412)/2008/SB/Vol. II/71 dated 21.01.2010 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 through its own departments and constituent colleges in regular mode vide notification No. F.9-19/2015/(CPP-I/PU) dated 22nd September 2015. Delhi Government legislation on 17th October, 2008 (Delhi Act 07 of 2008) and made functional from by notification on 24th July, 2015. The University is situated in the University campus besides the old block.
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following position for the research project entitled Development of functionalized dual loaded herbal nano-colloidal carrier : Active targeting and repositioning of teriflunomide for synergistically enhancing role of sulphoraphane in combating triple negative breast cancer.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Duration : Initially for one year with the provision of extension upto 3 years (based upon the performance) or still the continuation of project whichever is earlier
Emoluments / Fellowship : Rs. 35,000.00 + HRA as per SERB Office Order dated 23/4/2019
Eligibility Criteria :
Essential Qualifications: M.Pharm in (Pharmaceutics / Industrial Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Technology /Quality Assurance)/ MS (Pharmaceutics), M.Tech (Pharmaceutics)or equivalent degree from recognized institutes/Universities with a first class in B.Pharm and M.Pharm with GPAT/GATE/NET qualified.
Desirable : Candidates with Industrial work experience, expertise in Nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
Upper Age limit : 35 Yeais (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).

General instructions
1. The PIs has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. The competent authority reserved the right to reject the candidature of any or all of the candidates without assigning any reason thereof.
2. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
3. Original certificates and self-attested copies of all certificates need to be presented before the interview/final selection for verification. Last date for receiving the application by email is on or before 5th January 2022
4. Selection in project does not give the guarantee of the Ph D degree. The selected candidate may be allowed to register for PhD as per rules of DPSRU.
