ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST (37323)
Job Purpose
A highly motivated individual with strong interest in in-vitro ADME assays and LC-MS/MS bioanalysis is required for our current replacement. In this position, candidate will support compound screening efforts in standard in-vitro ADME assays.
Key Responsibilities :
• Perform in vitro ADME assays such as solubility, metabolic stability, CYP450 inhibition, plasma protein binding, TDI, IC-50 shift etc.
• Processing of plasma and tissue samples for bioanalysis.
• Operating instruments like LC-MS/MS for compound tuning and analysis, followed by data retrieval, method development of NCEs in plasma and other matrices.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge on TOF based application.
• Hands on TOF operation is preferable.

Candidate Profile
• MSc (Chemistry/Biological Sciences)/M. Pharm from reputed University.
• 6-8 years in industry.
• Prior experience in handling NCEs, analysis by LC-MS/MS, sample processing.
• Prior experience in standard in vitro ADME assays.
• High inter-personal skills, excellent oral & written communication skills.
• Problem solving, time-management skills, multi-tasking.

Senior Research Associate (37281)
Job Purpose
A highly motivated individual with strong interest in in-vivo/in-vitro Bioanalysis is required for SARC (Syngene Amgen Research center) collaboration. In this position, candidate will provide support to PK/TK bioanalysis and in-vitro ADME assays.
Key Responsibilities :
• Well versed with processing techniques like LLE, SPE and protein precipitation.
• Carryout sample processing from biological matrices including but not limited to plasma, serum, blood etc for bioanalysis.
• Strong knowledge of the concepts and practices associated with HPLC and Mass Spectrometry.
• WinNonlin operational knowledge will be preferable.
• Understand, interpret, and communicate high quality bioanalytical data.
• Ability to handle multiple studies simultaneously.
• Maintenance of assigned analytical lab equipment.
• Attention to detail and effective communication and documentation skills is desired.
• Adherence to Good Research practices of the organization.
• Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene.
• Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace.
• Wearing all PPE as required.
• Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene’s data integrity policies.
• Compliance to Syngene’s quality standards at all times.


Candidate Profile
• M.Pharm /M. Sc (Analytical chemistry)
• 0-2 years in industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Analyst applications.
• Have a general understanding of LC-MS/MS instruments and aware of basic instrument maintenance.
• Proficiency and hands-on experience in LC-MS/MS bioanalysis
• Should conduct bioanalysis of In-vivo (PK/TK)/In-vitro ADME samples using LC-MS/MS.

Senior Research Associate (37281)
Job Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing in vitro ADMET assays in SARC PKDM.
Key Responsibilities :
• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing fit-for-purpose ADMET assays
• Experience in Leading group of ADMET scientists including Discovery Bioanalysis
• In-depth understanding of instrumentation (LCMSMS and UPLC) and have ability to engage in scientific discussion with managers/client while reviewing experimental data.
• Ability to identify and design studies to delineate druggability issues in the drug discovery programs
• Expertise in the Bioanalysis and biomarker analysis including developing of robust bioanalytical methods
• Experience in Biotransformation is a plus
• Experience in conducting metabolism-based assays and appropriate interpretation of results and participate in client meetings
• Ensuring safety of self, teams and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace.
• Ensuring that there are no safety non-compliances in areas that my team operates in.
• Ensuring adherence to all Syngene policies related to data integrity by all members of the team including self.
• Ensuring all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self.
• Reporting incidents (or near-misses) and learnings from those incidents to avoid recurrence.
• Compliance to Syngene’ s quality standards at all times and ensuring the same by the team members.


Candidate Profile
• Ph.D or M.Pharmacy
• Extensive experience and problem-solving ability in Discovery bioanalysis, in vitro ADME assays, biotransformation.
• In-depth understanding of common in vitro ADME assays, their protocols, sample preparation for Bioanalysis and raw data analysis to arrive at ADME values. Knowledge of biochemical and cell-based assays such as Hepatocyte stability, Caco-2 and MDCK is preferred.
• Ph.D with 2-5 years of experiences or M.Pharmacy with 12 years of experience or M.Sc (Biochemistry or Biotechnology) with 12-14 years of experience.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to plan, execute and keep experimental records & prepare protocols as needed
• Mentor junior scientists
• Team player
