Guru Nanak Dev University was established at Amritsar on November 24, 1969 to mark the 500th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is both a residential and an affiliating university. In conceiving the future course of the University, the objectives enshrined in the Guru Nanak Dev University Act 1969, emphasised that the new University would make provision for imparting education and promoting research in the humanities, learned professions, sciences, especially of applied nature and technology.
Applications are invited for the post of JRF in ICMR sponsored research project entitled “Identification and characterization of miRNAs involved in idiopathic male infertility” under the supervision of Dr. Gagandeep K. Gahlay (PI).
Post : JRF
Emolument : Rs 31,000/- p.m. + HRA= Rs 35,960 for 1st year. Emolument shall be applicable only if the candidate(s) met education qualification and eligibility criteria as per DST OM dated 31.04.2019.
Qualification : Post Graduate degree (with min 55% marks) in Life Sciences. Candidate must have qualified NET/GATE or any other National level examination.
Tenure : Initially till 31/1/2022 and is extendable on yearly basis as per ICMR rules.
