Educational Qualifications
Diploma in pharmacy / BSC pharmacy or its equivalent and must be registered in AP pharmacy council with up to date renewal. Phrama-D(Doctor of Pharmacy) Candidates are not eligible to apply.

1. OC Candidates should not have completed 42 years as on 01.06.2020. (Should not have been born before 01.06.1978).
2. SC / ST / BC Candidates should not have completed 47 years as on 01.06.2020. (Should not have been born before 01.06.1973).
3. Ex-Servicemen and PHC Candidates should not have completed 50 years as on 01.06.2020 (Should not have been born before 01.06.1970)
Reservation :
Rule of Reservation will apply as per AP State Govt. rules in force.
i. There will be reservations in this recruitment in respect of Scheduled Tribes(ST), Scheduled Castes(SC), Backward Classes (BC), Economically Weaker Sections(Ews), Physically challenged (VH,HH,OH), Women, Ex-servicemen persons as per Rule 22 and 22(Al of AP State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 .
ii. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) means the persons who are not covered under existing scheme of reservations for SCs, STs, Socially and Economically Backward Classes and whose gross annual \ family income is below Rs.8.00 lack or identified as Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) for the benefit of the reservations. The income shall also include income from all sources i.e., Salary, Agriculture, Business, Profession, etc., for the financial year prior to the year of application. The persons seeking the benefit of reservations under EWS category shall obtained the necessary EWS certificate issued by the Tahsildar concerned and produce at an appropriate time to the District Selection Committee, as per G.O.Ms.No.73, GA(Ser-D) Dept., Dt.04.08.2021.

I) 75 Marks obtain in qualifying examination
II) Weight age for number of years since passing qualifying examination is upto 10 marks @ 1
Marks for each completed year.
III) Weight age for contract services in Government institutions up to 15 marks
a) 2.5 Marks per Six months in Tribal Area
b) 2.0 Marks per Six months in Rural Area
c) 1 Marks per Six months in Urban Area.
iv) Covid duties : @ 5 Marks per 6 Months
@ 10 Marks per 1 year
@ 15 Marks per 1 year 6 Months
B. There will be no Interview Marks.
C. Further that the weightage will be given for recruitment for the post of Pharmacist Gr.II to the staff working in 104-Mobile medical units, and also working in HDS/CDS/Arogyasree HCT, Trauma care, APSACS, NHM and other GOI schemes who are appointed on contract/ outsourcing basis though District selection committee or appropriate selection committee whichever is applicable under the control of Director of public Health and Family welfare/ Commissioner of APVVP/ Director of Medical Education.
Selection will be done based on the following criteria :
1. Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and year of passing, work experience in the respective field area for respective categories and displayed on website for transparency
2. Selection list will be prepared from the finalized merit list duly following the Rule of Reservations and presidential order.
3. The number of posts now notified will be increased or decreases as per the availability of vacancies at the time of recruitment.
