Applications are invited for the position of Research assistant in the ICMR sponsored research project entitled “Structure based discovery of novel chemical chaperone compounds targeting α- synuclein aggregations for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease” sanctioned to the undersigned.

Essential Qualifications: The Candidate must have passed the M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks in Biophysics / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Allied fields OR M.Pharm in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmachemistry.
Note: Candidate who have cleared GATE/NET-JRF/lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)/ICMR/Panjab University’s Ph.D. entrance test, are encouraged to apply.
Desirable Experience : Prior knowledge of computational studies and neurological studies
Emoluments/Fellowship: The selected candidate will be paid stipend of Rs. 31,000/- pm
Duration : Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
