The ICGEB is an international, nonprofit research organization. Established as a special project of UNIDO, it became fully autonomous in 1994 and now counts over 60 Member States. The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology provides a scientific and educational environment of the highest standard and conducts innovative research in life sciences for the benefit of developing countries.
Post : Research Associate
Research Associate position is available at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. The project is funded by Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India).
Research Associate fellowship : For structural and biochemical studies on malaria parasite proteins in collaboration with national and international groups.
Educational Qualification of Applicants : PhD in life sciences or chemical sciences; desirable candidate will have experience in molecular biology and biochemistry. Candidates with experience in structural studies will be preferred. Understanding of parasitology will be an asset.
Emoluments : as per DBT guidelines
Appointment will be initially for 3 months and extension will be based upon performance of the applicant. The grant is for 5 years starting in 2021.
