National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an "Institute of National Importance" with proclaimed objectives of becoming Centre of Excellence for advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER-Mohali was the first institute established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Govt. of India. Later, the DOP established 6 new NIPERs across the country including NIPER-Hyderabad which started functioning from 19th October 2007, from the premises of erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad.
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a DRDO funded research project (TD/18-19/DRL-100(CARS-1).
Research Area : Development, evaluation and characterization of hydrophobic nanoparticle impregnated fabrics to be assessed as dress material for defence.
Duration : One year
Minimum Qualifications :
• M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics)/MS (Pharm) from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 7.5 and above at a scale of 10. Hands-on experience over Nanotechnology based drug delivery systems is desirable.
• Below 28 years of age at the time of application.
Research Experience : Candidates with sound knowledge and Hands-on experience over Nanotechnology based drug delivery systems will be preferred.
Salary : Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)
