Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow at VPCI

The Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI) is a unique postgraduate medical institution devoted to research, teaching and patient care in the field of chest diseases. It is a University of Delhi maintained institution and is funded entirely by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The Institute is ideally located in the heart of the main campus of the University of Delhi, providing the requisite academic environment.

Applications are invited for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (one) and Project Attendant (one) for ICMR project, “Exploration of azole resistance in Candida tropicalis: Detection of ERG 11 gene mutation and azole resistant genotypes” under Prof. Anuradha Chowdhary, Medical Mycology unit of Department of Microbiology, VPCI.

Junior Research Fellow - One Post
Essential Qualification : Master degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biomedical
Sciences / Life Sciences and ICMR-PGI National Eligibility Test / CSIR / UGC NET test qualified.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 31,000 p.m. + 24%HRA as per rules.
Upper age limit: 30 years

Project Attendant - One Post
Essential Qualification : Matriculation or an equivalent examination with Science subject from recognized board.
Desirable : Two years’ experience in laboratory with knowledge of computers Consolidated Salary : Rs. 15,800/- p.m
Upper age limit : 25 years

Tenure of Service : Three year
