Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences named after a great mathematician of 12th Century was set up in October, 1995. The college is affiliated to the University of Delhi and is funded by Government of National Territory of Delhi.  The main goal of the institution is to train students in various self oriented professional courses like Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation and Food Technology.  Within a short span of time, our college has achieved remarkable recognition as one of the few excellent institutions in Delhi. The college is housed in a spacious new building sprawled over ten acres at Sector 2, Dwarka, New Delhi. The new college campus has twelve departments out of which ten departments have 3 laboratories each.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position in DST-SERB Funded Project

Title of the Project : Significance of 5-hydroxymethylcytosine in neurodegeneration associated with rapid eye movement sleep deprivation

Duration of Post : One Year (may be extended based on the performance). The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis. The position will be co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Biomedical Science/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences or related fields or M. Tech. Biotechnology or M.Pharm or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA with valid GATE/ NET. For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA with valid GATE / NET.

Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to candidates with experience in molecular biology techniques and NGS data analysis.

Age Limit : As per the norms of the funding agency

Fellowship : As per the norms of the funding agency
