Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur C.G. State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. GGU is an active member of the Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities. The National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the University as B+ . Situated in a socially and economically challenged area, the university is appropriately named to honor the great Satnami Saint Guru Ghasidas (born in 17th century), who championed the cause of the downtrodden and waged a relentless struggle against all forms of social evils and injustice prevailing in the society.

Walk-in-Interview for the selection of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Project Fellow under a SAP funded research project (UGC) will be organized in Institute of Pharmacy GGV Bilaspur, C.G.
Title of the project : New drug discovery from medicinal plant research.
Name of the Funding Agency : SAP (UGC), New Delhi,
Duration of the Project : 5 years
Salary : Rs 14,000 pm as JRF for Ist and 2nd year and Rs 16,000 as SRF for the 3rd year, 4th and 5tth yr (as per UGC norms)
Essential Qualification : M.Pharm with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Desirable Qualifications : Prior work experience with natural products (during M. Pharm dissertation job/as JRF) / GPAT qualified/publications in indexed journals will be preferred.

• Candidates should appear interview in person with originals of degree certificates (two sets of Xerox-attested), one copy detailed bio-data, 2 passport size photographs and any other relevant information (like GPAT score, copies of publications, awards, etc.)
• No travelling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the interview.
• Tenure of the JRF/project fellowship shall be purely temporary and co-terminus with the project,
• Candidate shall be willing to travel to internal areas of Raipur and Raigarh for sample collection.
