Walk in interview for M.Pharm, M.Sc at NIPER | Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is a prestigious educational institution of National importance, established in the year 2007 under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. NIPER, Hyderabad conducts courses in MS (Pharm.), M.Tech (Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences and MBA (Pharm.) in Pharma Management for Two years. Research opportunities also exist for those who would like to pursue their Doctoral Degree for which students are selected through a National Entrance Test (JEE). The Institute is mentored by CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad, a leader in Chemical Technology which is well known all over the world.

Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH/WOMEN and 3 years for OBC

Remuneration : 20,800/- PM

Essential Qualification and Experience :
1. M.S/M.Pharm in Medicinal Chemistry or M.Sc in Organic Chemistry with NET/GATE or at least 2 years of academic/industrial/research experience.
2. The candidate should be organized, meticulous and have in-depth knowledge and skill in organic synthesis and adequate experience in analyzing spectral data.
3. Knowledge of structure-drawing packages like ISIS/Chemdraw/Chemsketch are highly desirable.
4. The candidate should be willing to work in a team environment.

The selected candidate must be responsible for
i. Design and development of appropriate synthetic methods to obtain the drug-like small molecules for elucidation of biological activity.
ii. Isolation, purification and characterization of products.
iii. Documentation, preparing reports and presentations etc.
No claim shall be made by the candidate for the extrapolation of this work into PhD program now or later.
