Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is first University established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting “studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education, for example engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”

DBT Project: “Newton-Bhabha Virtual Centre on Nitrogen Efficiency of Whole Cropping Systems for Improved Performance and Resilience in Agriculture” The initial appointment shall be for a period of 1 year, extendible on yearly basis by the PI till June 2019 or the end of the project.
Research Associate
Emoluments : Rs. 36,000/- pm + HRA
Eligibility : Ph.D. (fulltime) in relevant area of biology/ biotechno-logy/agriculture.
Age: <40 yrs
Specialisation : Functional genomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, plant molecular biology, agricultural genetics.
Experience : 2 research papers in SCI-indexed journals of impact factor >2.
JRF
Emoluments : Rs. 25,000/- pm + HRA
Eligibility : Masters degree (full time) in biology/biotechnology/ agri-culture/equivalent and NET JRF/LS.
Age: <25 yrs
Specialisation : Functional genomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, plant molecular biology, agricultural genetics.
Experience : Experience with relevant skills.
