A Walk-in-Interview will be held in the office of the Director, School of Oceanographic Studies, Jadavpur University, Kolkata 700032, on 03rd January, 2018 (Wednesday) at 12 pm for the following position to carry on research work in the NRSC, Gol sponsored Project entitled, “STUDY OH CARBON DYNAMICS IN ESTURAIES AND NEARSHORE WATERS OF IIUGLI ESTUARY” under the supervision of Prof Sugata Hazra, Principal Investigator, School of Oceanographic Studies, Jadavpur University.

Qualification for SRF:
Essential: M.Sc. in any discipline of Biological Sciences (with at least 55% Marks) and having a Research Experience at least of two years as JRF.
Desirable qualification: M. Phil degree in any discipline of Biological Sciences/Oceanographic Studies. NET/GATE/SET qualified in Respective Science Disciplines preferred. In case candidates with NET/GATE/SET are not available or not found suitable, candidates with M.Phil degree with working experience in Sundarban and Hugli Estuary will be considered. Peer reviewed publications in relevant disciplines is desirable.
Age Limit: 32 years
(Relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates/Experienccd candidates)
Fellowship for SRF: Rs. 28,000 per month+30% HRA (NET qualified candidates) Rs. 18,000 per month+30% HRA (non-NET qualified candidates)
Duration: Two years (may be extended depending upon funding)
