The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) took birth as National Tissue Culture Facility in March 11, 1986 with a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune campus, Pune.

Qualification and Experience
Ph.D with minimum 20 years experience in cell culture . The candidate should have competence in supervising and developing Standard Operating Procedures for cryopreservation, revival and quality monitoring of animal cell cultures.
Terms of Reference
Develop and monitor the Standard Operating Procedures for cryopreservation, revival and quality monitoring of animal cell cultures for accepting these as patent deposits under the Budapest Treaty
Monthly Emoluments
Rs.60,000 To 90,000/- . + Local Conveyance
Tenure
Up to 31.03.2017 Extendable further depending on the extension of the project

Candidates fulfilling the above requirements may attend the walk in interview on 02.01.2017 at 11.00 at Sai Trinity Building, Garware Circle, Sus Road, Pashan, Pune-411 021.
No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
Candidates are required to report sharp at 9:30 am on the date of interview with the following documents:
