National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. The Institute has progressively expanded its activities in various aspects of research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building & research programmes. The present infrastructure includes the Institute housed in a 28024 sq. mtr space, residential accomadation for the staff, a power plant to ensure uninterrupted power supply and an incinerator for safe disposal of bio-waste.
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow under DBT sponsored project “Antibody-Dependent Cellular Cytotoxicity (ADCC): a new frontier in vaccine research” as detailed below. The post is purely temporary & for the period of project only.

Essential Qualification & Experience: M.Sc. First Class in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Sciences
Desirable Qualification & Experience: CSIR / UGC / DBT / ICMR JRF / GATE Qualified will be preferred and Experience in Molecular techniques and Experience in flowcytometry and tissue culture techniques will be preferred
Job responsibilities: Isolation of PBMCs, flowcytometry based assays, data analysis
Salary: 16000+HRA @ 20% P.M. for first & second year and Rs. 18000 + HRA @ 20% P.M. for 3rd year
