National Institute for Research in Tribal Health (NIRTH) formerly Regional Medical Research Centre for Tribals (RMRCT) is a permanent institute of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health of Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
Project:- Molecular Epidemiological Study of Plasmodium Falciparum field isolates and the incidence of Malaria in endemic regions of Central India
Name & number of posts: Senior Research fellow Leading to PhD. One Post
Qualification: Post-graduate degree in Life Science/Biotechnology from recognized University And Minimum two years research experience in malaria.
Desirable: Candidate have good research experience in the area of malaria parasite/Molecular biology / Cell culture will be preferred.
Age limit: 35 Years. Age will be relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PWDs Candidates as per rules
Consolidated monthly pay: 18,000 + HRA
Work Responsibility: Will be overall In-charge of the field/Laboratory work. Any other work assigned by the Principal Investigator from time to time.

Qualification: Post graduate degree preferably in life science
Desirable: Having experience in the field/Laboratory based research on malaria
Age limit: 28 Years. Age will be relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PWDs Candidates as per rules
Consolidated monthly pay: 8,000
Work Responsibility: Will assist the research activities in field and laboratory. Any other relatedwork as assigned by Principal Investigator from time to time
Project:- Analysis of in vivo transcriptome of Plasmodium Falciparum from Indian patient suffering from cerebral malaria and its comparison with that from patient infected severe malaria (with MOD symptoms) at NIRTH, Jabalpur:

Consolidated monthly pay: 18,000 + HRA
Work Responsibility: Will be responsible for field and laboratory based work related to the project. Job involves research in the endemic area of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
General Conditions:
The posts are purely temporary and co-terminable with the contract. Preference will be given to the candidates having higher qualification and Work experience. The selected candidate shall not have any right to claim for regular appointment under NIRTH/ ICMR.
No TA/DA will be paid for Written Test/ Skill Test or interviewed depending upon the number of applicants.
