Regional Medical Research Centre, NE Region is one of the six regional centres of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It covers the most remote and less developed eight states of the north-eastern region of India and is responsible for carrying out Biomedical Research in the region. It was established in 1982 and runs with intramural grant from ICMR and extramural adhoc projects from different funding agencies.
Applications are invited for the post of Research Officer (Non Medical) under various extramural research projects implemented at RMRC (ICMR), N. E. Region, Dibrugarh.
Post: Research Associate: 1 (one) post.
Essential Qualification
Ph.D in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Molecular Biology OR MVSc / M.Pharm / M.Tech Biotechnology with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal
Desirable Qualification:
a) Experience in the field of Malarial Research Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences
b) Knowledge of computer applications Salary: Rs. 36,000/- per month+ HRA Age: Below 40 years
Applications will be received on 18-12-2015 between 09:00 AM and 11: 00 AM at RMRC (ICMR), N. E. Region, Dibrugarh.
Late applications will not be entertained after 11:00 AM.
Written Test/Personal Interview will be conducted for the eligible candidates on the same day.
The names of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed in the notice board by 1:00 PM.

1. The post is purely temporary.
2. SC/ST/OBC candidates are allowed relaxation in accordance with the Govt, of India Rules, in force.

6. Incomplete applications, defective applications and applications submitted or received after the scheduled date and time, will not be accepted and this will be rejected without any intimation to the applicant.
7. No TA/DA etc. will be given for attending the interview.
8. The decision of Regional Medical Research Centre, N. E. Region (ICMR), Dibrugarh, will be final in this regard. Canvassing in any form will be considered as a disqualification.
