The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The Council is an apex body in India for formulation, development and promotion of research in Ayurvedic system of medicine. The Council carries out its activities and functions through its network of 31 Institutions located all over India.
It is proposed to engage the services of the following personnel initially for a period of one year extendable upto maximum three years but may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority. The written test will be held on the dates indicated against each category and only those candidates, who qualify the written test, will be interviewed on the same day. Post: Senior Research Fellow
Senior Research Fellow(Pharmacology)- 01
Qualification, experience and age limit:
Essiential: MSc., M.D, M.V.Sc.,
M.Pharma.(Pharmacology)
Age: Not exceeding 35 years.
Remuneration: 1st & 2nd year Rs 18000/- plus HRA per month 3rd year Rs.20,000/- plus HRA per month.(Non- Medical)
OR
Rs.20,000/- plus HRA per month. (Medical)

Senior Research Fellow'(Pharmacognosy/ Botany)-01
Qualification, experience and age limit:
Essiential: MSc. (Botany) /M.Pharma (Pharmacognosy) with two years research experience
Age: Not exceeding 35 years
Remuneration: 1st&2rd year Rs 18000/- plus HRA per month.
3rd year Rs.20,000/- plus HRA per month.
Date &Time of test.: 7.12.2014 11AM
Interested candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications and age limit as prescribed above are requested to appear for walk-in-interview at the above mentioned address in the auditorium of the Council on me scheduled date and time, along-with the bio-data, two passport size recent photographs and photocopies of certificates along-with originals.
Note:
1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance or regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on 1st Jan. 2014 relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC as provided for in Govt, of India orders.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview.
4. The requirement of posts in various categories can be increased or decreased by the Competent authority.
