Project Titled : “In-silico, Structural, Functional, and Biochemical characterization of an eukaryotic-like Ser/Thr kinase, in regulating antimicrobial resistance in carbapenem / colistin resistant Acinetobacter baumannii.”

Essential Qualification : First class Post Graduate degree viz. M.Sc in any area of life sciences or allied subjects / M.Pharm / M.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science including the integrated PG degrees OR Second class Post Graduate Degree viz. M.Sc in any area of life sciences or allied subjects / M.Pharm / M.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science including the integrated PG degrees with PhD OR Four years bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable : Candidates having more than two years experience in setting up experiments and analysis while modeling of proteins; carrying out molecular dynamics simulations, docking, virtual screening of small molecules against a target etc.

Monthly Emoluments : Rs.56,000/- + HRA

Project Research Scientist –III (Non-Medical) = 01
Essential Qualification : First Class Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology / Microbiology & allied subjects including the integrated PG degrees, with three years experience or PhD in Life Sciences/Biotechnology / Microbiology & allied subjects. OR Second Class Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology & allied subjects including the integrated PG degrees, with PhD in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology & allied subjects and three years experience. Must have handled minimum five projects relevant to the requirement as Principal investigator or Co-PI.
Desirable : Candidates having more than five years of post-qualification experience in antimicrobial resistance research, molecular microbiology, biochemical characterization of proteins, generation of genetic mutants in clinical strains, in vitro assays, working experience in antibiotic resistance in critical pathogens in BSL-2 lab. Candidate is required to have prior independent experience in coordinating the activities of the project, design, monitor, evaluateand demonstrate the work progress. Candidate should have strong scientific writing and verbal skills. Experiences must be evidenced with relevant publications / documents.
