Tata Memorial Centre is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer ( ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital ( TMH). ACTREC conducts a Ph.D. program in Life Sciences, affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (a deemed university under category A by MHRD, Govt of India). On-going research at ACTREC includes basic and translational research in Cancer Biology.

Qualification & Experience : Master of Science (any Stream) / Life Science / Clinical Research with experience of at least one year in data Research / Clinical Research OR MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS. 1-year work experience in Public Health is desirable
Duration : Six months or till the continuation of the project, whichever is earlier
Project Overview : Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE), Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), Mumbai has established a Unit for Strengthening Cause of Death Data (USCOD), with a vision to support, promotes and advocate for best practices in Medical Certification Cause of Death (MCCD) Data quality in Civil Registration and Vital Statistics in India and the Asia Pacific region.
