Indian Veterinary Research Institute looking for Life Sciences candidates

Established in 1889, the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) is one of the premier research institutions dedicated to livestock research and development of the region. The institute with faculty strength of more than 275 has a major mandate of research,  teaching, consultancy and technology transfer activities. The institute with its long  scientific heritage has always enjoyed a certain prestige, a tradition all of its own.

Post : Young Professional-II (One Position)

Project Name : ICAR-Consortia Research Platform on Vaccines & Diagnostics, ICAR funded project on “Pen side test for detection of Bluetongue Virus antigen”.
Essential Qualification : Masters degree in the discipline of Veterinary Science / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Bacteriology / Virology / Immunology or Life Sciences. 
Desirable work : Experience Experience of handling mammalian and insect cell culture, Biochemical techniques / Molecular Biology tools / Immunological techniques / cell lines and propagation of viruses. 
Emoluments : Rs. 42,000/- per month as a consolidated emoluments as per ICAR guidelines 
Age limit : Minimum Age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 45 years on the date of interview (relaxation as per GOI rules)
Duration of project : Initially for a period up to 31/3/2025 or end of the project whichever earlier and extendable based on needs of the organization and performance of the candidate.
