Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. IISER Kolkata is designed to reach the prestigious position in the global setting that IISc, IIMs and IITs presently enjoy. IISER Kolkata is an autonomous institution awarding its own degrees. Post : Research Associate in the CSIR sponsored project - 01 Post
Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Research Associate (RA) in a time bound research project for a temporary period, purely on contractual basis as per the following details.
Project Title : Red Emitting Meta-Fluorophores Exploring Structure-Property Relationship Through Ultrafast Dynamics, Crystallography and Cell- Organelle Specific Live Cell Imaging.
Department : Department of Chemical Sciences
Project Tenure : 3 Years
Essential Qualification : Doctorate (PhD/MD/MS/MDS) or equivalent degree OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/MPharm/ME/MTech. (As per CSIR guideline)
Job Description : Experience in small fluorophore synthesis and cell-organelle specific live cell imaging and/or ultrafast dynamics, crystallography will be preferred.
Age Limit : RA- 35 Yrs.
Age relaxation : The upper age limit is relax-able up-to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship : Research Associate (RA)- Rs. 47,000/-p.m. (consolidated)
