Post : Junior Research Fellow
Project Title : SERB-DST funded Project ‘Molecular characterization of small ruminant lentiviruses (SRLVs) and development of multiple antigenic construct based diagnostics for SRLVs using computational biology tools’.
Educational Qualification : Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with three years Bachelor’s Degree and two years Master’s degree should have NET qualification as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z09/2018 of' DST dated 30.01.2019. Candidates with PhD or Master degree in relevant subject (Veterinary Pathology / Veterinary Microbiology / Animal biotechnology) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
Desirable Experience : Experience in molecular biology techniques, PCR, analysis of gene sequence, cloning, expression, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, Protein purification, IHC, histopathology.
Remuneration : Rs 31,000/- P.M. plus HRA as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of' DST dated 30.01.2019
Duration of the Project : Likely up to February, 2026
Age : Maximum 30 years for male and 35 years for female candidates as on date of interview. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/women candidate(s) will be as per the GoI norms.
