National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system. The NHSRC is also mandated to assist in policy and strategy development, mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the states.

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi on behalf of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the above mentioned post purely on contractual basis.
Background
ICMR seeks Project Managers to contribute to the implementation of the PM-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). Within this context, the Project Managers of ICMR will be part of a Program Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU) under ICMR for the project related activities.
Project Background and Objectives
PM-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme with Central Sector Components. The objective of the scheme is to fill critical gaps in health infrastructure, surveillance and health research – spanning both the urban and rural areas, so that the communities are Atmanirbhar in managing such pandemic / health crises. The measures under the scheme focus on developing capacities of health systems and institutions across the continuum of care at all levels viz. primary, secondary and tertiary and on preparing health systems in responding effectively to the current and future pandemics / disasters
Responsibilities :
• Provide support in scientific, technical, policy, research, planning, and coordination, etc. activities in effective implementation of different components undertaken by ICMR under PM-ABHIM
• Develop guidelines, SOPs, templates, formats along with guidance documents
• Undertake field visits and monitor / review the programme implementation Work with all stakeholders including
• World Bank Team and ensure successful implementation of the programme
• Monitor the progress of the PM-ABHIM (in all respects, including Physical and Financial Targets) and provide inputs on a regular basis.
• Any other assignments as assigned by ICMR and reporting officer, from time to time.
Essential Qualification / Requirements : PG with Ph.D in Life Sciences. Five Years experience in a BSL-2+ / BSL-3 Labs. Experience in handling biomedical instruments and preparation of concept proposals. Conversant with Computer Applications, preparation of Scientific documents and conducting meetings. Planning and Monitoring implementation of the project goals.
Reporting : The Project Manager (PM-ABHIM) will report to the Deputy Director General (Admn), ICMR or the Project Nodal Officer, as the case may be.
Contract Period : The engagement will be purely on contractual basis, initially for a period of one year. However, subject to satisfactory performance, it may be renewed for further period, purely at the discretion of ICMR. The contract may however, be terminated by either party by giving one month notice. ICMR reserves right to terminate immediately, with one month’s notice pay also.

Location : Primarily Delhi. If required, may be sent on tour to other stations, for project related works.
Other conditions : As per the extant guidelines of ICMR.
Age : Up to 40 Years (as on the date of receiving the application)
Remuneration : Between Rs.01 to 02 Lakhs per month, based on merit and experience
