All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education. The Institute has comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and patient-care. As provided in the Act, AIIMS conducts teaching programs in medical and para-medical courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and awards its own degrees. Teaching and research are conducted in 42 disciplines. In the field of medical research AIIMS is the lead, having more than 600 research publications by its faculty and researchers in a year. AIIMS also runs a College of Nursing and trains students for B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing post-certificate) degrees.

Research Associate – I

Qualification : Essential: Ph.D /MD /MS /MDS or equivalent degree Or Having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MS / M.Pharma /M.Tech /ME or having any Master’s degree
Desirable : At least 2-3 years of research experience in emergency care after Master’s degree
Age limit : 40 Years
Salary : As per ICMR RA-I Rs. 59,690/ monthly
Duration : Initially for 1 year and will be extended for 3 years based on satisfactory work performance
Scientist I (Non-Medical)
No. of posts : 1
Qualification : Essential: 1st class Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with 2 years of experience in related field Or 2nd class Master’s degree with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University Or BDS/B.V.Sc./M.Sc. Nursing degree with two years experience Desirable: Research experience (one year) in field of emergency care or Qualitative research experience in relevant field will be given priority
Age limit : 35 Years
Salary : As per ICMR Scientist I Rs. 48000 + 30% HRA (6300) monthly
Duration : Initially for 1 year and will be extended for 3 years based on satisfactory work performance
