The Indian School of Mines was formally opened on 9th December 1926, by Lord Irwin, the then Viceroy of India to address the need for trained manpower related to mining activities in the country with disciplines of Mining and Applied Geology. In 1967 it was granted the status of a deemed to be university under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956. Since its establishment, IIT(ISM) has undergone considerable expansion of its activities, and presently it can be considered as a total technology education institute.

Project : Improving the Economic Well-Being of Scheduled Tribe Communities (ST) Using Game Theoretic and Operations Research Techniques in Jamtara District of Jharkhand State.

Essential Qualification
• Graduation in Engineering / Technology / Medicine / Pharma or graduation in science from a leading institute with a good track record
• At least one year of working experience (mandatory) in prominent roles for handling statistical analysis and related activities is essential.
Age limit : Preferably below 35 years (Relaxation as per GoI norms)
Job Description
• Data collection using primary survey and data analytics
• Documentation and reports preparation.
• Development of optimization model
• Handling the project management aspect for this project
• Keeping a record of inflows and outflows in this project
• The Project Assistant will report to the investigators of the project
Tenure of Post : For three years or based on end date of the project whichever is earlier
Salary : Rs. 22000/- per month (Consolidated)
