Note :- According to the reservation roster prescribed for Latehar district, Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes In the event of the applicants not being kept in the reserved category, they will be considered under the general category.
Application Fee
Rs.400/- for general category applicants for each post. It will be mandatory for SC / ST applicants to attach a demand draft of Rs 200/- with the application form. The demand draft will be payable by the designation of Civil Surgeon, Latehar and the payable branch will be Latehar. For more than one post, the applicant will have to attach separate application form and it will be mandatory to submit the application fee separately for each post. But the application for the same post under different units will not be accepted. Also, as per the decision of the selection committee, if the efficiency test is conducted on the same date, then the claim of conducting a separate examination for the second post will not be valid in case the applicant submits the application for more than one post. In case of submission of application for more than one post, it will be mandatory to mention it in the application form
Conditions of Selection
1. The application form will be accepted only by Registered Post/Speed Post.
2. The employees to be appointed will not be employed, but they will be contracted to work against the approved honorarium on the basis of contract. It will be mandatory for the applicant to attach Indemnity Bond with the representation to the effect that they will not claim for regular appointment after appointment on contract/contract basis.
3. The contract will be admissible for one year, as per requirement it can be extended on the basis of one-on-one Annual Performance Appraisal.
4. Departmental instructions regarding extension of contract will have to be complied with. If the work is not satisfactory during the year, the contract can be terminated by giving one month notice / one month advance honorarium.
5. Candidates who will submit the CGPA Score Card for Educational Qualification will also attach the CGPA Conversion Chart along with the Mark Sheet.
6. The applicant has to attach self-attested photocopies of all educational and technical certificates (with two additional passport size photographs) with his/her application. Also, it will be mandatory to enclose a plain envelope with postage stamp of Rs.25/- on which the correspondence address will be mentioned along with the application.
7. The decision of the District Selection Committee, Latehar in the appointment process will be final and binding. The Selection Committee reserves the right to modify the conditions of the advertisement / cancel the advertisement as per the requirement.
8. No personal correspondence/contact will be entertained in connection with the appointment. In order of selection/appointment against vacancies, the reservation roster of Latehar district will be followed by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language, Jharkhand. In the posts of direct appointment, the posts of unreserved category will be filled first as per the merit list.
9. Only after this the reserved category posts will be filled as per the merit list.
10. Order of appointment Personnel Administrative Reforms and Official Language Department's letter- 316 dated 19.05.2022 and Health Departmental letter- 256 (15) dated 01.06.2022, letter -369 (15) dated 20.07.2022 and letter 410 (15) dated 08.08.
11. In the light of 2022, in the order of selection / appointment on the above mentioned vacant posts, the condition of passing matriculation and 10+2 from educational institutions located in the state of Jharkhand will be complied with.
12. If the information given by the applicant in the application / certificate attached with the application is found to be false / false, the candidature of the applicant can be canceled at any stage and legal action can be taken against the applicant as per rules.
Selection Process
1. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Educational/Technical Qualification/Scores in Written Test/Performance Test/Counselling/Interview etc (as applicable). Which will be determined as per the departmental instructions / as per the decision of the District Selection Committee.
2. The District Selection Committee will reserve the right to amend the merit list / selection list. Experience Certificate Only the work experience certificate issued by the government / recognized medical institutes will be valid.
3. The finally prepared selection / waiting list will be published on the notice board of the Office of the Civil Surgeon / Deputy Commissioner. As per the requirement, the information will also be given on the newspaper / website of Latehar district.

Applicants complete in all respect can send the application in a closed envelope through registered post/speed post to the above mentioned address. On sending/submitting the application form to any other office, their application will automatically be treated as canceled. Advertisement number and full details of the post applied for and post code will have to be mentioned on the top of the envelope. If the information of the post applied for is not mentioned, the application concerned will be rejected.
