Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the following project positions coterminous with the project duration.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (01 Position)
Project Title : Evaluation of epigenetic drugs in restricting SARS-CoV2 infection (Funded by ICMR, Govt. of India).
Fellowship : Rs.31,000/- per month+ @ 16% HRA
Essential Qualification : Candidates with Master's degree (M.Sc. /M.Tech./ M.V.Sc. or equivalent) in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or Life Sciences with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university and having two years of relevant research experience are eligible to apply. Candidates should have also qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR-NET/LS or GATE or equivalent national examination.
Desirable Qualification : Candidates with research experience in molecular Biology, cell biology, etc. will be preferred.
Upper Age Limit : 28 years as on 08.09.2022 (Relaxation of age as per Govt. of India rules).
Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an interview process. The upper age limit of the candidate will be considered as on last date of application. Age relaxation will be provided to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
