Regional Centre for Biotechnology is an institution of national importance and statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Title of Project : Influence of drought stress on ribosomes and protein synthesis and understanding the functional relevance of Ribosomal Protein L10 in rice.
Duration : Upto 29.12.2022.
Age Limit : Below 28 Years
Essential Qualifications : MSc / MTech in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry / Bioinformatics / Genomics / Agriculture / Animal and any National Level JRF eligibility test such as NET, GATE, etc. qualified.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in plant molecular biology, biochemistry, protein isolation, purification and Co-IP techniques are necessary. Candidate who has 1-year research experience of working in a relevant area with expertise in plant molecular biology, protein biochemistry and tissue culture will be preferred. Candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA per month
