Post : Senior Research Fellow / Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) on plain paper for the following position in my research project entitled “Unravelling the mechanism of different components of non-photochemical quenching dynamics in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii under abiotic stress” funded by the CSIR research project. The last date for receiving applications is 6th September 2021. The candidates may have to appear an interview, on a date announced later. The level of Appointment would be based on the availability of candidate.
Fellowship : 35000/- p.m. for SRF; 31000/- p.m. for JRF (HRA will be according to the University Norms)
HRA : As applicable
Tenure of the Post : One year (can be extended depending on performance, till the completion of project : August/September 2024)
Essential Qualifications : For SRF: M.Sc. in Botany/ Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or a related area and at least one first author publication in a reputed journal. Also, should have minimum of 55% aggregated marks in M.Sc. Preference will be given to the CSIR-NET/GATE. For JRF: M.Sc. in Botany/Biology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or a related area and Should have CSIR-NET/GATE. Also, should have minimum of 55% aggregated marks in M.Sc
Desirable Qualifications : Research experience in the area of project, namely plant physiology, plant biochemistry or plant molecular biology.
Research Experience : Minimum of 2 years for SRF in a reputed laboratory and minimum 1 year research experience in the area of Plant Biology for JRF
Upper Age Limit : 33 Years for SRF and 28 Years for JRF
