Agri Biotech Foundation is an autonomous academic institute engaged in research, Extension (transfer of technology), Human Resource Development and Public engagement. It is a registered society under Andhra Pradesh Societies Act. It was established in January 2007. It evolved on the basis of successful execution of a long term research programme called Andhra Pradesh Netherlands Biotechnology Programme (APNLBP) funded by the Government of the Netherlands between 1995 and 2010.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF) / Young Professional
Applications are invited for a position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Young Professional in the CSIR-EMR II sponsored research project entitled “Development of mungbean yellow mosaic virus resistant greengram (Vigna radiata L.) through CRISPR/Cas approach”.
Project duration : 6 months
Fellowship : Rs.35,000/- per month. Terms and Conditions as per CSIR-EMR II norms.
Minimum Qualification : M.Sc. Biotechnology / life sciences or equivalent with minimum of 60% marks.
Desirable qualifications : Minimum 2 years of post-M.Sc. research experience in genetic transformation and molecular characterization of transgenic plants preferably legumes crops evidenced by research publication(s) in peer reviewed journals.
