Post : Research Associate II (One Position only)

Name of the project & Duration of the Project : “Comprehensive analysis of the follicular helper T cell repertoire in flavivirus infection and vaccination” funded by DBT
Educational Qualifications : Ph.D in Life Sciences plus two years of research experience in Virology/Immunology
Duration : Upto 20.01.2022

Job Description : The selected candidate is expected to work on the cutting-edge virus immunology to explore the immunological signature of long-term protective immunity acquired in natural infection versus vaccination. The work is developing under a bilateral program between India and USA. Most of the work will utilize PBMCs and serum as the sample from individuals enrolled under proposed study. Interested candidate should have demonstrated skills in virology research. Hands-on experience in handling virus, virus propagation and titration, Cell culture, antibody analyses, PBMC handling, cellular immunology and FACS is essential. Candidates with proven experience in the clinical virology research will be preferred.
Emoluments : Rs. 49,000/- per month plus 24 % HRA

1. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
2. No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
