Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation Ltd is a public sector undertaking of the Govt. of Gujarat, which has been incorporated as on 20/08/1976 as a government company under the Companies Act, 1956. The Registered and Head office of the Corporation is situated at Vadodara. Among its objectives, the Corporation mainly puts efforts towards the optimum utilization and sustainable development of the minor forest produce available in the State of Gujarat for providing livelihood opportunities to the forest dwellers who reside in and around Forest areas of the Gujarat State and preventing their exploitation from the middlemen.
Vacancy (Contract Based) Details of qualification and duties of Contract based employee for Ayurvedic Pharmacist-1 on 11 months at POR Unit, GIDC, Vadodara under the Corporation are given below.
Post : Ayurvedic Pharmacist (01 Post)
Education Qualification
1. A degree in Ayurveda or Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Siddha or Unani system of medicine as the case may be, conferred by University, a State Government Statutory Faculties, Councils and Boards of Indian Systems of Medicine recognised by the Central Government or a State Government for this purpose or
2. A diploma in Ayurveda, Siddha or Unani system of medicine granted by a State Government or an Institution recognized by the Central Government. or
3. A graduate in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Chemistry or Botany of a University recognized by the Central Government with experience of at least two years in the manufacture of drugs pertaining to the Ayurvedic or Siddha or Unani system of medicine or
4. A Valid or Hakim registered in a State Register Practitioner of indigenous systems of medicines having experience of at least four years in the manufacture of Siddha or Unani drugs, or
5. A qualification as Pharmacist in Ayurvedic (including Siddha) or Unani systems of medicine, possessing experience of not less than eight years in the manufacture of Ayurvedic or Siddha or Unani drugs as may be recognised by the Central Government.
Age : Not more than 33 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes / Scheduled Tribes and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes will have 3 years concession
Experience : Must have at least 3 years of experience in herbal medicine in a recognized Ayurvedic pharmacy. 05 years experience is required for Diploma applicants. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Co-operative Pharmacy, Limited Company and State Corporation.
Knowledge of commuter : Gujarati, Hindi and Sanskrit language as well as knowledge of commuter is required
Duties
1. To carry out production as per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Act
2. To make qualitative changes wherever possible so as to get maximum value addition of secondary forest products.
3. To prepare new patents and proprietary products and get approval for their production and sale, to prepare classical herbs and get approval for their production and sale.
4. To help in the production of Ayurvedic medicines which have been approved for production.
5. To adopt hygienic tactics in the production unit to keep the production area of the unit clean and to impart training and understanding to the workers in this regard.
6. To coordinate the work related to food and drug regulation system, Gandhinagar as well as various offices for production, license etc.
7. Provide various types of training to the employees working in the manufacturing unit from time to time.
8. To prepare existing products as well as new products Provide necessary guidance on purchase of new machines and equipment where necessary in the manufacturing process to manufacture existing products as well as new products.
9. To take all necessary steps to maintain the quality of the product in the manufacturing process and to make the standard and to collect and maintain the standard samples.
10. To keep all the records related to the product.
Place of Duty : G.I.D.C, Ramangamdi, Por, G. Vadodara
Salary : Rs.20,000 / - Monthly / Consolidated (Negotiable)
Time of Contract : 11 months
Other Details :
1. No benefits other than monthly consolidated salary will be given.
2. Receivable leave will be given as per government rule. She will not receive paid leave after her contract expires.
3. Salary will be paid by check.
