Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and five inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes.
Applications are invited for an online interview for the following post in the project entitled, "Development of novel and efficient carbohydrate enzymes for bioenergy and biovalued products" at the Department of Biosciences & Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.

Qualification:
M.Sc/ M.Tech /B.Tech in Biotechnology /Life Sciences and allied disciplines with GATE/NET-JRF qualified. Candidates having knowledge of techniques of molecular biology / enzymology / protein chemistry will be given preference.
Total Pay Amount: 37210.00
Pay recommendation: 31,000; HRA: Rs. 4960; Medical Required: 1250
