Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (RMRIMS), Patna was established in the memory of the First President of Republic of India Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad in the year 1963 with Asthma as its mandate. It was taken over by Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi on 1st April, 1984 under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and thereafter the main thrust area is Visceral Leishmaniasis (Kala-azar).

Application for Interview through Video Conferencing are invited from suitable Indian nationals for appointment for the following purely temporary posts (on contractual basis) under ICMR / SII sponsored Project titled “A Phase 2/3 observer-blind, randomized, controlled study to determine the safety and immunogenicity of COVISHIELD (COVID-19 vaccine) in healthy Indian adults” Sponsored by ICMR at RMRIMS, Agmkuan, Patna - 800007 (Bihar).

Qualification/Experience : Essential: Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institute. OR Diploma in pharmacy with 3 years of experience in health care institution.He/she must be registered in the concerned state pharmacy council.

Nature of work : Vaccine accountability. Vaccine reconstitution

Upper Age limit : 30 Years

Duration : 02 Months

Pay / Month (in Rs.) : Rs 31,000/-

Age Relaxation : Age relaxation to the candidates having essential qualification may be given up to maximum 5 years that includes (a) 5 years for SC/ST candidate, (b) 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy) candidates, and (c) length of experience in ICMR Institute/ centre or any other recognized institutions.

Recruitment process:
• The candidates must send their application in the enclosed standard format with supportive documents related to age, address, identity proof, experience and caste category for age relaxation, if any, through email only (ao-rmrip@icmr.gov.in) latest by 28.08.2020 (05.00 PM). Incomplete/late applications will not be entertained.
• In case of application for both posts, the candidate should submit post-wise separate applications.
• The short-listed candidates will be intimated about the date and time of Interview will be conducted through video-conferencing. VC credentials will be sent through email only well in time.
• The selected candidates must produce their original certificates and documents (as mentioned in the application) for verificaiton and must carry one passport size photograph at the time of joining.
• In case of incorrect or false information, the candidature may be disqualified at any stage. • The selected candidates must join on or before the date of joining as metioned in the offer letter. No extension of time will be permitted.
• The appointment will be purely on temporary basis for a period of above mentioned duration for the posts. The candidate will not have any right of regular employment in due course.
• Apart from the consolidated monthly emolument, no other allowances will be admissible.
• After appointment, the candidate should make their own arrangement for stay.No hostel/ Guest house facility will be provided.
