Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), a National Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India invites applications for contractual positions of Scientist Fellows. The main mandate of IBSD is Conservation and Sustainable Utilization of Bioresources for the socio-economic Development of the North East Region of India, which is a genetic treasure trove of plants, animals and microbial resources.

Research Associate
Consolidated monthly salary : Rs. 56,000 p.m.

Qualifications : Ph.D / MD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences or any relevant field with experience in viral diagnosis and preferably with RT-PCR techniques.
Project Associate
Consolidated monthly salary : Rs. 31,000 p.m.

Qualifications : M.Sc. / MTech / MVSc / BHMS / M.Pharm / MBBS in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences or any relevant field with experience in viral diagnosis and preferably with RT-PCR techniques.
Laboratory Technician
Consolidated monthly salary : Rs. 20,000 p.m.

Qualifications : B.Sc. and well versed with biomedical waste management practices.
