Job Profile
• To design, synthesize, and characterize novel bioactive molecules towards a wide range of novel protein targets, in an efficient and independent manner.
• To work on organic synthesis with a broad knowledge of modern organic chemistry and synthetic methods: heterocyclic chemistry, metal catalyzed reactions, multi-step synthesis; in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide range of techniques in synthesis, purification, and spectroscopic characterization of novel compounds (NMR, LCMS, HPLC, etc.).
• To collaborate and solve synthetic challenges and design novel molecules.
• Maximize the productivity of the group and provide intellectual input to the department.
• To maintain Lab note book.
• Understanding of systems and process pertaining to safety, health and environment.
Department : Medicinal Chemistry
Qualification : Ph.D. Chemistry from reputed college/university with 0-2 years of post doc or industrial experience.
