The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), an apex body for the formulation, coordination and development of research in Ayurveda on scientific lines was established in March 1978 after reorganization of Central Council for Research Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy. The Minister of Health & Family Welfare is the President of the Governing Body of the Council, while the Joint Secretary chairs the Standing Finance Committee. The Scientific/Research Programmes are supervised by the Scientific Advisory Board.
This Institute intends to engage temporary staff for the various projects on contract basis, initially for a period of six months to be posted at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Urinary Disorders, Bantalab, Jammu. The services may be curtailed or extended on performance /need basis.
SRF (Botany)- 01 @ 28,000 + HRA per month
Qualification/Experience and age limit
Essential: M.Sc. (Botany) with 2 years research experience preferably in Pharmacognosy / Plant anatomy.
Desirable: i.Sound knowledge of pharmacognosy, ii.Working knowledge of computer.
Age limit:35 years
Pharmacist/ 02 @16000/- per month consolidated (1 for Tribal Health care and 1 for Schedule Caste Health care Project)
Qualification/Experience and age limit
Essential: Diploma in Pharmacy/ Diploma Pharmacy (Ay.) from a recognised university / Institution.
Desirable: One year Experience in Ayurvedic hospital.
Age limit: 27 years

Interested candidates fulfilling the essential qualification and age limit may apply in the prescribed proforma along with self attested copy of certificate in support of age and essential qualification and two passport size recent photographs. The Candidates who are called for written test/ interview will be required to carry their original testimonials for verification .The interested candidates must reach RARIUD, Bantalab, Jammu at 10.00 am on the stipulated date and beyond that, no candidate will be allowed for interview/ written test.
Notes:-
1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained. The staff mentioned at pharmacist shall have to perform the duties in rural areas of J & K state by conducting regular Tours.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on date of interview/written test. Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt, of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview/ written test.
