The Central University of Rajasthan has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009, The Gazette of India, No. 27, published on 20th March, 2009 as a new Central University, and is fully funded by the Government of India. The President of India, His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, is the Visitor of the Central University of Rajasthan.
Applications are invited for the post of Project Assistant on contract basis to work on the DST-sponsored research project entitled “Development of Sustainable Reactions and Methods using Dibenzothiophene 5,5-dioxide: Synthesis of pi-Conjugated Systems”, sanctioned to Dr. M. Bhanuchandra, Assistant Professor at the Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ).
Duration : One Year from the date of appointment (with a possibility for extension)
Essential Qualification
M.Sc. Chemistry/Organic Chemistry (minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA)
Desirable
Working experience in a chemical research laboratory; Knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry.
Consolidated Salary
Rs.14,000/-

Date of Interview will be notified separately. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. If called for an interview, the candidates will have to bring all the original certificates along with the experience certificates. Candidates attending the interview in person will be preferred. However, candidates from distant places may request for the interview on Skype, which depends only on the availability of Internet connectivity at the time of interview. If the candidate is selected by Skype interview then the position will be offered to him/her only after the verification of the relevant certificates.
No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
