Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01 post only) to work on a project sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The details are as follows: Title: “To develop on-site identification mechanism and study importance of some medicinal plants of Chhattisgarh used by local healers for human health management in tribal region using Foldscope”.

Duration of the project: One year or Project Completion Date whichever is earlier
Essential qualifications: For JRF as per Govt. rules: M. Pharm. with minimum 55% marks (candidates with GPAT/GATE/CSIR-NET qualification will be preferred
Desirable Research Interest: Research in microscopy of medicinal plant and related research areas such as formulation development
Salary: Rs. 25000 p.m. consolidated
Relaxation: The relaxation in case of SC/ST/women/PWD candidate will be given as per government rules.
