Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha conceived the Nuclear Program in India. Dr Bhabha established the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) for carrying out nuclear science research in 1945. To intensify the effort to exploit nuclear energy for the benefit of the nation, Dr Bhabha established the Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay (AEET) in January 1954 for multidisciplinary research program essential for the ambitious nuclear program of India. After the sad demise of Bhabha in 1966, AEET was renamed Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC).
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre conducts walk-in-interview for appointment of Pharmacists on Adhoc basis.
Post : Pharmacists
Qualification : HSC (10+2) + Two years Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months Training in Pharmacy + Valid Registration as a Pharmacist with Central or Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council
Experience : Candidates with experience in the field will be preferred. Basic Computer Knowledge is essential as the Pharmacists will have to enter the details of the medicines dispensed.
Emoluments : Monthly consolidated amount - Rs.16,720/- Plus DA admissible for Pharmacist ‘A’
Period of appointment : Not more than 89 days at one time
Age limit : Not more than 50 years

Reporting time for Interview : Forms will be issued from 0830 hrs to 1000 hrs on the same day and not beyond 1000 hrs
