The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is committed to advanced research addressing the basic mechanisms involved in body's defence to identify modalities for manipulation of the immune system to provide protection against diseases and understand mechanisms that can be used to target disease processes for intervention. NAME OF THE PROJECT: “Development of novel lipid and polymer based nano formulations for targeted delivery of antimalarial drugs” funded by DBT
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc in Biological Sciences/M.Pharm/M.Tech (Biotechnology). Candidates must have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ as per DST OM dated 21.10.2014
JOB DESCRIPTION: The work involves Plasmodium culture, in vitro and in vivo drug efficacy testing, toxicity assays etc. Candidates having experiences in handing animals, in vivo drug assays and related work will be given preference.
EMOLUMENTS: R25,000/- per month plus 30% HRA
