Minimum essential, desirable qualification and experience:
1. 10+2 or equivalent with Science Stream
2. Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an Institution of the Central/State Govt. or an institution recognised by the Central or State Govt.
3. Should be registered as a “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
General Instructions to the Candidates
1. The candidates are required to apply through ONLINE only. The ONLINE option will remain open from 21.08.2015 to 16.09.2015 upto 5.30 p.m. For submission of application through ONLINE mode, please visit Institute’s website www.iitr.ac.in.
2. The print out of completed application along with all relevant supporting documents duly self-attested and prescribed demand draft should be sent to the Assistant Registrar, Recruitment Cell, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee - 247667 (Uttarakhand) on or before September 21, 2015. The envelope containing complete application should be super-scribed “Application for the post of----------------------“.
3. Being other things are equal the eligible applicants for the post mentioned at Sl.No. 3 & 6 belonging to the region around Roorkee and Saharanpur will be given preference, for which they have to attach an attested copy of domicile certificate of that area.
4. Preference will be given to ‘Persons with Disabilities’, even where the reservation is not marked and suitable PwDs applicants are available.
5. The candidates should send a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee payable at Roorkee towards the Application Fee. No fee is required from IIT Roorkee, Roorkee employees, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities candidates.
6. The application received after expiry of last date will not be entertained and Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay.
7. Institute reserves the right to fill up the post, not to fill up the posts or cancel the advertisement in whole or partly without assigning any reason. The Institute will also reserve the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for written test/interview. Fulfilment of essential qualifications per-se does not entitle a candidate to be called for test/interview. The decision of the Institute in this regard will be final.
8. Incomplete applications/without relevant supporting enclosures/without prescribed fee/ application not on prescribed form will be out rightly rejected.
9. Interim correspondence will not be entertained and replied to.
10. Persons serving in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs, should send the print out of completed application along with all relevant supporting documents duly self attested THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL, failing which such persons shall be required to produce NOC at the time of Interview.
11. For availing the benefits of Other Backward Classes, the candidates are required to produce the latest OBC non-creamy layer certificate on the prescribed proforma applicable for appointment to the posts of Central Government.
12. No TA will be paid for written test. However, the candidates called for interview will be paid for the journey by the shortest route from the place of correspondence address on submission of tickets in original as under:
