The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) is an Institute of National importance established by an Act of Parliament under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. The institute is presently housed at B.V.Patel PERD Centre, Ahmedabad. Permanent campus is being established in Gandhinagar. The Institute has excellent facilities for advanced education and research in pharmaceutical sciences and is looking for teaching and non teaching staff of high degree of knowledge and willing to contribute in building this institute as one of the best centers of excellence. Presently the Institute is running M.S (Pharm.) and Ph. D Programmes and planning to expand further.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.Sc./M.Pharm/M.S.Pharm) in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in downstream processing, biochemical engineering, enzymology, immunology, cell signaling, protein purification and high throughput screening excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D, with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.Sc/M.S Pharm /M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Analytical Chemistry/ Bioanalytical Chemistry with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in development and validation of analytical / bioanalytical methods for various drug substances and products/biological samples, degradation pathways and synthesis / characterization of organic molecules, stability and stress studies excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D , with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work. Candidates should be familiar with regulatory guidelines like ICH, FDA, MHRA, WHO, GMP, GLP etc.

Specialization: Pharmacology & Toxicology

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in field of diabetes and cancer with expertise in current molecular and cellular techniques, including recombinant DNA technologies, RNA and protein analysis, cell culture histology excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D, with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work.

Specialization: Pharmaceutics

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.S Pharm / M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Technology formulations with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in pharmaceutical product development, novel and or targeted drug delivery systems, solid state characterization, analytical and bioanalytical techniques etc. excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D, with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Application forms are available at the Institute’s website <www.nipergn.ac.in>. The candidate(s), who fulfill the eligibility criteria, may submit the application(s) in the given format and send the soft copy along with the signed hard copy of the same application form along with covering letter, latest passport size photograph, self attested copy of qualification and experience and prescribed fee in the form of Demand Draft favoring NIPER - Ahmedabad, payable at Ahmedabad.
The soft copy of the filled application is to be send to e-mail ID registrar@nipergn.ac.in. Both soft and hard copy are mandatory.
2. The maximum age limit and eligibility conditions shall be counted as on closing date for receipt of applications. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to place reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for interview.
3. Institute reserves the right to withdraw advertised post(s) at any time without assigning any reason. Institute also reserves the right to fill or not to fill any post(s) and its decision in this regard shall be final.
4. The competent authority may relax experience and age for exceptionally meritorious candidates.
5. In case no suitable candidate(s) is/are found for higher faculty post(s) i.e. Associate Professor/Assistant Professor, lower faculty post(s) i.e. Assistant Professor/Asst Prof (contract) may be offered.
6. The process of selection may include presentation / seminar / test / interview or as to be decided by the Selection Committee.
7. Envelope containing the application form must be super scribed with ‘Application for the post of ________ (DISCIPLINE) (whichever is applied should be clearly mentioned)’.
8. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post or for more than one discipline, he / she shall have to apply separately & fill separate application forms and send in separate envelops along with the seperate requisite fee.
9. The applicants serving in Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous organizations must send their application on the prescribed format along with relevant documents ‘Through proper channel’, failing which the same will not be considered. However to save the time, candidate may sent an advance copy and bring the NOC at the time of interview/test.
10. Incomplete application or without relevant supporting enclosures (self attested copies of degrees / certificates / marks sheets / experience certificates / Document certifying date of birth, reprint of important publications etc.) will be out-rightly rejected.
11. The application form without prescribed fees may lead to cancellation of candidature. Candidates shall have to produce original testimonials at the time of interview, failing which they may not be allowed to appear in interview.
12. The names, addresses and occupations of three referees must be given in the application form and they should be familiar with your recent work and at least one of them should be your superior. The nature of past and present duties is required to be mentioned in detail.
13. Request for change of mailing address or e-mail address during the process of recruitment will not be entertained under any circumstances. The application form is required to be filled up in candidate’s own legible handwriting.
14. All appointments are purely contractual in nature and same is renewable depending upon performance and mutual consent. The candidate will have no right to claim for regularization of the post.
15. No interim enquiries/correspondence/communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter.
16. The last date for receipt of application forms is 09 Sep 2015.
17. The Institute will NOT be responsible for non-receipt of application(s) within the stipulated date due to any postal delay / loss of application / document sent in transit. Late applications may not be considered.
18. Candidates of only Indian nationality can apply for these posts.
19. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
