"The Pharmacy department of BITS Pilani is one of the few early schools of Pharmacy in India. Established in 1950, under the able leadership of (Late) Prof. M. L. Schroff, Father of Pharmacy Education in India, it blossomed into one of the most sought after Schools of Pharmacy in India due to its broad-based education system and university-industry linkages, which is the hallmark of BITS, Pilani. In the year of 2011, the Department of Pharmacy has completed 60 years of its existence as a premier institution in the field of Pharmacy Education and Research in India and abroad. "Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to work as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) sponsored project at Department of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus.
Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Fellowship : Rs 14,000 per month
Essential Qualification: M.Pharm (Pharmacology)/ MS Pharm (Pharmacology and Toxicology) candidates with GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent examination will be preferred.
Project: Title: Role of Histone Ubiquitination & Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2 in the Development of Renal Fibrosis under Type 1 Diabetic Condition.
Duration: Three years

Requirement: Candidates should be well versed with different diabetic models and basic pharmacology techniques. In addition, he/she should have hands on experience with western blotting, RT-PCR, Protein isolation."
