Applications are invited for Senior Research Fellows, Research Associate in U. P. Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary positions (Two Senior Research Fellows and one Research Associate) in the ongoing ICAR Niche Area of Excellence project entitled “Toxicodynamic studies on impact of environmental pollutants on bovine reproduction with particular reference to regulatory pathways”. Application may be addressed to the Principal Investigator, Niche Area of Excellence, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, DUVSU, Mathura on the prescribed application form.

Post: Two Senior Research Fellows and one Research Associate

Positions and engagements are purely temporary and will be on contractual basis initially for one year and may be extended further but will co-terminus with the project. However, can be terminated at any time if the conduct and research output is not satisfactory. There is no provision of re-engagement or absorption after termination of the project.

Senior Research Fellow
Age: 35 years for men and 40 years for women (maximum)
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Veterinary Pharmacology/Pharmacology/ M.Pharma (Pharmacology)/ Biotechnology with 1^st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average
Desirable: Working experience in smooth muscle pharmacology using isolated organ bath/ Molecular Biology techniques and working knowledge of computer including statistical analysis of data.

Research Associate
Age: 40 years for men and 45 years for women (maximum)
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Veterinary Pharmacology/ Pharmacology/ M.Pharma (Pharmacology)/Biotechnology with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average and at least two years research experience as evidenced by Fellowship and Publications
or
Ph.D in any of the above subjects
Desirable: Working experience in smooth muscle pharmacology using isolated organ bath/ Molecular Biology techniques and working knowledge of computer including statistical analysis of data.

Emoluments
SRF: Post graduate in subjects other than Veterinary Science: Rs 16,000/- per month/Post Graduate in Veterinary Science: Rs 18,000/- per month and H.R A as per UP Govt. rules.
RA: Master Degree holders: 23,000/- per month /Doctoral Degree Holders: 24,000/- per month and H.R A as per UP Govt. rules.

Walk-in-interview will be conducted on 2^nd September, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. in the Committee Room of Dean Veterinary College, Mathura.

The selected candidates have to submit fitness certificate from district hospital. No TA/DA etc. will be paid for attending the interview.
