The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is committed to advanced research addressing the basic mechanisms involved in body's defence to identify modalities for manipulation of the immune system to provide protection against diseases and understand mechanisms that can be used to target disease processes for intervention. Qualifications:
For Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc/M.Tech in Organic Chemistry/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Biophysics or equivalent
For Senior Research Fellow: M.Sc./M.Tech in Organic Chemistry/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Biophysics or equivalent with two years of research experience.
Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience
For Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 16,000/- per month + 30% HRA if Leading to Ph.D NET/GATE Qualified otherwise Rs. 12,000/- per month + 30% HRA
For Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 18,000/- per month + 30% HRA if Leading to Ph.D/NET/GATE Qualified otherwise Rs. 14,000/- per month + 30% HRA.
Job description & Desired Knowledge: Candidates having experience in synthetic organic/carbohydrate chemistry, HPLC handling, characterization of small molecules will be given preference.
