Openings for M.Pharm, MS Pharm, MSc in DST-SERB funded project at NIPER

Applications are invited for one temporary post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in DST-SERB funded project entitled “Alpha V Beta 3 Integrin Aspired Vesicular Nanohybrids Based Neoadjuvant Therapy For Locally Advanced Colon Cancer” tenable at Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER- Ahmedabad. The position is for period of 10 months (April 2025 to December 2025) subject to continuation of the project. The position will be co-terminus with the project.

Project Title : Alpha V Beta 3 Integrin Aspired Vesicular Nanohybrids Based Neoadjuvant Therapy For Locally Advanced Colon Cancer

Engagement Period (JRF) : The position is for period of 10 months (April 2025 to December 2025) subject to continuation of the project. The position will be co-terminus with the project.

Salary : Rs. 31000/ month + HRA as applicable

Qualification Essential Qualification :
• M.Pharm/ MS Pharm/ MSc or Equivalent with specialization in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology or equivalent with specialization in Pharmacy/ Life sciences / Biotechnology with hands on experience in cell culture studies.
• PG degree with 60% marks for GN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PH) from UGC recognized University/ Institute, autonomous bodies NIPER/IITs/IISER.
• Publications (at least one) in standard refereed journals.

Desired qualification : GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/GPAT qualified.

Work experience :
Essential work experience : a) Prior experience in animal tissue culture, molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
Desired work experience : a) Previous experience in testing of formulations on cancer cell lines.
